questionoftheday asks: What is the most interesting coincidence or series of coincidences that you've experienced? Do you think it was a coincidence, or did you see it as something more?

My answer: One of my friends from high school and I share the same last name when it is written in hanzi (for me)/kanji (for him). We found out when there was a lunch container mix-up, despite me bringing lunch from home and him getting the school lunch. We didn't find out before then because I don't know Japanese and he doesn't know Chinese.
